I've just been instructed on a brand new Accounts Semi Senior role with a growing specialist firm in the music, media and entertainment sector. This opportunity sits within their expanding compliance function and is ideal for an Accounts Semi Senior looking to continue training while gaining exposure to interesting, creative clients.

This Accounts Semi Senior position would suit someone with a couple of years' experience in practice, either AAT qualified or studying, or ACCA studying, who wants strong mentorship and the chance to develop within a newly established team.

The Accounts Semi Senior Role

As an Accounts Semi Senior, you'll join a recently established Compliance team set up just over a year ago, working on statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax compliance. The Accounts Semi Senior will also be responsible for preparing statutory accounts, corporate tax returns and reviewing VAT returns and supporting wider compliance requirements, with IRIS used as the core accounting software.

This Accounts Semi Senior role offers close exposure to senior accountants and managers, making it ideal for someone keen to strengthen their technical skillset and progress naturally into a more senior accounts role over time.

Who This Accounts Semi Senior Role Would Suit:

This role is well suited to an Accounts Semi Senior who is AAT or ACCA studying, with prior experience in an accountancy practice and a solid grounding in accounts preparation. An interest in media, entertainment or music clients is beneficial for an Accounts Semi Senior, but not essential.
