A global insurer is seeking an In-House Tax Manager to support with tax compliance, reporting and advisory in their London team. Reporting into the Senior Tax Manager for Europe, wider key stakeholders will include external tax advisors, local tax authorities, finance/legal teams and the Head of Tax.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support and process ownership for regional tax reporting and tax accounting
  • Oversight and preparation of tax reporting disclosure in the accounts
  • Supporting and overseeing the preparation of tax computations
  • Management and oversight of tax provisions for local financial documents and computations, including working with external professional services firms as required
  • Supporting the transfer pricing lead with regional documentation, advisory and ongoing improvements
  • Working with tax management on ad-hoc projects and international tax developments

The successful candidate:

  • Recent ACA/CTA qualification
  • Must bring fundamental experience of UK tax accounting/reporting
  • Exposure to corporate/international tax advisory helpful
  • Financial services experience preferred but not essential
  • In-house/secondment experience is preferred
  • The right to work permanently in the UK
