A leading and fast-growing UK accountancy firm is looking to hire an Audit Assistant Manager to join their Financial Services Audit team in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified auditor with financial services or fintech experience to step into a growing team working with a diverse and high-profile client base, ranging from established commodities brokers to innovative, fast-growth fintech businesses.

What you will be doing as an Audit Assistant Manager

• Plan, perform, and complete audit assignments within the Financial Services sector
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and resolving issues as they arise
• Identify control weaknesses and opportunities for process improvement
• Prepare draft financial statements, audit reports, and completion memoranda for review
• Supervise, delegate to, and review the work of junior staff
• Support the training and development of audit team members
• Complete performance assessments for team members
• Ensure work is delivered in line with audit methodology and professional standards

What you will need to succeed as an Audit Assistant Manager

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Proven audit experience within financial services and/or fintech
• UK audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm
• Experience supervising staff and managing multiple assignments simultaneously
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise directly with clients
• Well-organised, proactive, and able to manage competing deadlines
