Graduate Audit Associate
Competitive salary + benefits
Pinner, North West London | Immediate start

I'm working with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers that is looking to appoint a Graduate Audit Associate into its Audit & Assurance team.

This is a strong opportunity for a graduate who is serious about building a long-term career in audit and accountancy, with full ACA study support, hands-on client exposure and the chance to develop within a growing, modern and forward-looking practice.

The firm has been established for over 20 years and works with a broad range of businesses and individuals, including London-based clients and international businesses operating in the UK. The audit team is led by an experienced Director with a Top 5 accountancy firm background and ambitious plans for continued growth.

The Role

As Graduate Audit Associate, you will join the Audit & Assurance department and be trained across the audit process, working with a varied client base across a range of sectors.

You will gain practical audit experience from the ground up, while studying towards the ACA qualification with full support, including professional training, study leave and exam leave.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting audit assignments for a range of clients

  • Learning the full audit process from planning through to completion

  • Working with financial data, records and documentation

  • Assisting with client service and communication

  • Collaborating with colleagues across audit and non-audit teams

  • Building technical knowledge through on-the-job training

  • Developing towards full professional qualification

  • Maintaining accurate, organised and methodical working papers

What They're Looking For

The firm is looking for a bright, enthusiastic and committed graduate who wants to build a career in audit.

You will need:

  • A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline

  • Three A Levels at BBB or above, excluding General Studies, or equivalent

  • Minimum Grade B in GCSE Mathematics and English Language, or equivalent

  • A genuine interest in audit and the accountancy profession

  • Excellent spoken English and good written communication skills

  • A professional, enthusiastic and responsible approach

  • Strong attention to detail

  • A methodical approach to working with financial information

  • Good teamwork, organisation and problem-solving skills

  • The ability to work independently and use initiative

Why Apply?

This is a great opportunity to join a smaller, growing practice where you can gain broad exposure, proper training and real variety from an early stage.

Rather than being one of hundreds in a large intake, you will work closely with experienced people, gain visibility across the team and build strong foundations for a long-term accountancy career.

The package includes:

  • Competitive salary + benefits

  • Full ACA study support

  • Professional training, study leave and exam leave

  • Annual discretionary bonus

  • Flexible working hours

  • Optional working from home

  • Generous annual leave entitlement

  • Holiday purchase scheme

  • Company pension scheme

  • Life assurance scheme

  • Employee referral scheme

  • Extensive learning and development opportunities

  • Training fund available for staff

  • Regular company social events

This would suit a motivated graduate who wants to qualify as an ACA accountant, gain broad audit experience and join a personable, ambitious firm where they can develop properly from day one.
