Are you an experienced Audit Manager looking for your next step with a progressive and award-winning accountancy practice? I'm working with a well-established Top 30 accountancy and advisory firm that is growing its Audit and Assurance offering and looking for a dynamic Audit Manager to join the team.

The Audit Manager role:

As Audit Manager, you'll manage your own client portfolio, lead assignments, and play a key role in developing both people and client relationships. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Split of work is 70% audit and 30% accounts
  • Overseeing audits from planning through to completion across a wide range of sectors
  • Reviewing accounts and tax computations
  • Leading and mentoring junior team members, providing on-the-job training and feedback
  • Building and developing strong client relationships
  • Supporting business development through networking and proposals
  • Involvement in wider team responsibilities, including recruitment and marketing initiatives

What you'll need:

  • ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Experience managing your own portfolio of audit clients
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS102 (IFRS beneficial)
  • Demonstrated people management experience
  • Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to client service
  • Experience with audit software (Caseware preferred)
