Your role as an Audit Manager:
- In the Cambridge team, you'll work with a broad mix of organisations (some AIM listed) across retail, technology, professional services, and not-for-profit sectors. Typical turnover ranges from £20m-£40m, with some much larger, and assignments are usually completed within a couple of weeks.
- Managing your own portfolio of clients, including workforce planning, WIP management and billing.
- Delegating audit, accounts, and some tax compliance work and reviewing files ahead of RI sign-off.
- Providing feedback and mentorship to junior and senior colleagues
- Developing relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Supporting business development through networking and marketing events
- Meeting clients to pitch and tender for new work and preparing associated documentation
What you'll need to succeed:
- You must be ACA /ACCA / CA Qualified with post qualification experience.
- You will have experience in managing your own portfolio.
- A good management rapport to mentor the audit team.
- Full Rights to work without requiring sponsorship.
