Audit Partner - Manchester / Leeds / Liverpool

Recognised as one of the UK's leading accountancy and advisory firms, our client is looking to appoint an Audit Partner to support the continued growth of its Northern Practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and market-facing leader to join a well-established team and play a key role in the future success of the practice. Working with a diverse portfolio of clients across Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and the wider region, you will focus on building strong client relationships, driving growth opportunities and contributing to the wider strategic development of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and strengthen relationships across a diverse range of audit clients.
• Act as a trusted adviser to boards, executive teams and key stakeholders.
• Drive business development activity and identify new growth opportunities.
• Deliver high-quality audit engagements while maintaining regulatory excellence.
• Collaborate across Audit, Tax and Advisory teams to provide integrated solutions.
• Contribute to the growth and strategic development of the Northern audit practice.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with Responsible Individual (RI) status.
• Significant audit experience gained within a professional services environment.
• Proven track record of managing senior client relationships and leading complex audit engagements.
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrable success in business development and practice growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong commercial mindset.
