Job Title: Audit Partner, RI
Location: London
Salary: £150,000
Ref: 59868
Our client, a highly successful and fast-growing independent accountancy practice based in London, is seeking to appoint a new Audit Partner. The firm has delivered consistent growth over the past three years and is well regarded for its high-quality client service, collaborative culture, and long-standing commitment to remaining independent.
As the firm only appoints Responsible Individuals (RIs) at Partner level, there is a genuine need to bring in an experienced professional who can support the existing leadership team and play a key role in the next phase of growth. The incoming Partner will be expected to contribute actively to the audit practice and gradually assume responsibility for a client portfolio. While a fee following would be welcomed, it is by no means essential; cultural fit, capability, and ambition are of far greater importance.
The role requires someone comfortable managing a diverse client base, however this position does not require specific PIE audit experience. The priority is to find a well-rounded audit professional with broad hands-on experience across audit, accounts preparation, corporation tax, and VAT. Given the complexity of some client work, particularly in real estate, a good working knowledge of tax would be beneficial.
The new Partner will be well supported as they integrate into the firm, initially working alongside existing Partners on selected clients to build relationships and ensure a smooth transition. The leadership team is progressive and proactive, with clear succession plans already in place. They are committed to continued investment in technology and infrastructure, and maintain a strong focus on sustainable, quality-led growth.
This is a compelling opportunity for an ambitious and commercially astute RI to join a thriving, independent practice at a pivotal stage in its development, offering genuine scope for progression and long-term influence.
