Are you an Audit Semi Senior who would like to gain broader international exposure, work on multinational clients, and be part of a team that delivers fully coordinated global audit work?

I'm working with a leading Top 10 accountancy firm that is looking to strengthen its International Audit team. This is a strong opportunity for someone currently studying towards ACA, ACCA, ICAS or an overseas equivalent, who wants to move beyond more standard UK audit work and gain experience across international groups, finance service centres and globally coordinated audit engagements.

The team is industry agnostic, working with multinational businesses across a broad range of sectors. Rather than sitting in one narrow client portfolio, you would be involved in project-managed international audits, working closely with overseas member firms and helping deliver efficient, high-quality audit strategies across multiple jurisdictions.

There may also be opportunities to travel overseas several times a year as part of audit engagements, making this a particularly attractive role for someone who wants their audit career to feel more varied, international and commercially interesting.

The role will involve:

• Supporting the delivery of international audit engagements for multinational clients

• Working closely with senior team members, managers, directors and partners

• Reviewing systems, controls and finance environments

• Undertaking risk assessment and substantive testing across key audit areas

• Liaising with overseas teams as part of globally coordinated audit work

• Helping deliver clear, accurate and transparent reporting for clients and stakeholders

• Building your technical knowledge across ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP and wider financial reporting requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working within audit at Semi Senior level, ideally from a UK accountancy firm

• ACA, ACCA, ICAS studies underway, or an overseas equivalent

• Working knowledge of ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP and financial reporting

• Experience with audit testing, risk assessment, controls and systems work

• A proactive approach and confidence managing your own workload

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders

• An interest in international businesses, group structures and cross-border audit work
