Senior Manager / Director-Designate - Professional Services
London City | Hybrid Working
£75,000-£95,000 base + 0-20% performance bonus
I'm working with a high-performing, fast-growing professional services firm in the City that is looking to appoint a Senior Manager or ambitious Manager to take ownership of a ready-made client portfolio and build out a new division alongside the Partners.
This is a genuine Director and Partner track opportunity, suited to someone who wants responsibility, autonomy, and rapid progression based on results - not time served.
The Opportunity
- Take over an established portfolio of professional services clients from day one
- Grow and shape a new service line / division with direct Partner support
- Significant scope to win fees, lead BD initiatives, and raise your profile internally
- Clear pathway towards Director and Partner, with progression based purely on performance and achievement
This firm is well known for accelerated progression - with real examples of:
- Manager → Senior Manager in as little as 6 months
- Senior Manager → Director in under 12 months
- If you hit your numbers, you move. No bottlenecks. No artificial timeframes.
Who This Suits
- An existing Manager or Senior Manager ready to step up quickly
- A confident, clear communicator who enjoys client ownership and responsibility
- Strong professional services client experience (a major plus)
- Comfortable managing 15+ clients simultaneously
- Commercially minded, motivated by growth, visibility, and long-term reward
Why This Firm
- Tightly bonded, high-calibre team with a genuinely supportive culture
- Very entrepreneurial Partner group - ideas are encouraged and backed
- Market-leading remuneration and two-part performance bonus structure
- Hybrid working and a grown-up, trust-based environment
If you're at a point where you want your output to directly dictate your progression - and you're serious about moving towards Director and Partner rather than staying static - this is one worth exploring.
