Your role as Audit Assistant Manager / Manager

  • Manage a portfolio of charity and not for profit audit clients
  • Plan, prioritise and oversee audit assignments from start to completion
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong and lasting relationships
  • Lead audit teams on assignments, setting objectives and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Review work, ensuring quality, accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Manage budgets, workflow and fee recovery across your portfolio
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and add value to clients
  • Mentor and develop junior team members through coaching and feedback
  • Support cross-selling opportunities and collaboration across service lines
  • Contribute to business development through networking, referrals and sector involvement


What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience within audit, ideally with exposure to charities or not for profit clients
  • Experience managing or supporting a client portfolio
  • Confidence leading audits and managing client relationships
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments
  • A genuine interest in the charities and not for profit sector
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
