Corporate Tax Assistant Manager - Cambridge
Due to continued growth following a series of high-profile client wins, we are seeking an ambitious Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join an expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with large, listed multinational organisations, supporting them through an increasingly complex and evolving global tax landscape.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate tax services, managing client relationships, and contributing to the development of both our people and our client base. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to step into a more commercially focused, leadership-oriented role.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality corporate tax services to large, listed and multinational clients, ensuring technical excellence and practical, business-focused solutions

Build, manage and strengthen long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser

Support the planning, execution and successful delivery of complex tax projects

Identify tax risks and opportunities, providing clear and commercially relevant advice

Contribute to business development activities and the growth of internal and external networks

Coach, mentor and review the work of junior team members, supporting their development
Skills and Attributes for Success

Strong corporate tax technical knowledge with a desire to continue developing expertise

Proven ability to build and maintain effective client relationships at a senior level

Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Ability to identify and manage tax risks in a complex corporate environment

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Up-to-date knowledge of changes in corporate tax legislation and regulation
Qualifications and Experience

ACA / CA / ACCA / CTA qualification (or equivalent), or a law qualification

Experience as a corporate tax practitioner, ideally with exposure to large or multinational organisations

Experience in tax accounting and/or tax audit

Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply existing and new tax legislation
