A leading Top 50 UK accountancy and advisory firm is looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Director to join its growing Tax Service Line in Carlisle.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an ambitious tax professional who wants to influence the strategic direction of a successful Corporate Tax offering while building strong client relationships.

The role offers significant scope to drive business development, develop talent and make a lasting impact across Cumbria and the wider region.

About the Role

• Act as the lead Tax Relationship Director for a portfolio of high-value clients, building trusted relationships and identifying opportunities to provide additional support and advice.
• Oversee the delivery of complex Corporate Tax advisory work, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, within scope and budget, while maintaining strong commercial outcomes.
• Drive business development and market growth across Cumbria and beyond, helping to increase market share and contributing to the firm's wider growth ambitions.
• Lead, coach and develop a growing team of tax professionals, while working closely with Partners and the wider senior leadership team to shape the future of the Corporate Tax service.
