£55,000 - £70,000 + Benefits + Bonus

I'm currently working with a leading professional services firm who are looking to expand with a hire into their banking & capital markets team. This team focus heavily on providing compliance & advisory service to banks, lenders and brokers in a variety of different sectors.

• Well established team (50 across the UK)
• Regional hubs in Manchester, Leeds & Edinburgh (not just London)
• 5 Partners leading the service line across the UK
• Strong graduate intake meaning good support

Your new role:

• Manage corporate tax compliance and reporting for banking and capital markets entities, ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations
• Supporting with audit of tax obligations
• Provide tax advisory support on financing transactions, restructurings, and new business initiatives.
• Assess and manage tax risks, including reviewing complex transactions and maintaining strong tax governance controls
• Partner with finance, legal, treasury, and business teams to deliver tax-efficient solutions and regulatory compliance
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on banking products, investments, and capital structures
• Lead interactions with tax authorities, external advisers, and auditors, supporting enquiries, audits, and tax planning initiatives

What you'll need to be successful:

• Suitable qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT)
• Strong UK corporate tax compliance experience
• Non FS backgrounds considered
