Corporate Tax Manager (Financial Services)
Edinburgh + Hybrid working (3 days per week)
£55,000 - £75,000 + Benefits + Bonus
I'm currently working with a Big 4 Accountancy Firm who are looking to expand their financial services team with a hire in corporate tax. This team focus on supporting Asset & Wealth Management clients.
This is suited to someone who is from a corporate tax background wanting to focus on FS style clients.
Your new role:
- Managing corporate tax compliance and reporting for asset and wealth management clients, including reviewing tax returns and tax provisions
- Providing corporate tax advisory support on fund structures, reorganisations, transactions, and cross-border tax matters
- Advising asset managers, private equity firms, hedge funds, wealth managers, and other investment businesses on tax-related issues and legislative changes
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key day-to-day contact and delivering high-quality service
- Managing multiple client engagements, budgets, and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of work
- Reviewing and mentoring junior team members, providing technical guidance and supporting their development
- Identifying tax risks, opportunities, and planning solutions for clients
- Supporting business development activities, including proposals, networking, and expanding existing client relationships
- Ensuring compliance with internal risk management procedures and professional standards
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and industry developments affecting the asset and wealth management sector
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- Suitable qualification, ACA, CTA, ACCA
- Strong corporate tax compliance & advisory experience
- Financial services client experience is desirable but not essential
