Corporate Tax Manager - Top 10 Firm
London | Hybrid Working
£65,000 - £83,000 + Bonus + Benefits
I'm working with a leading Top 10 accountancy firm that is looking to strengthen its London Corporate Tax team with the addition of a Corporate Tax Manager.
This is a strong opportunity for someone already operating at Manager level, or an experienced Assistant Manager who feels ready to step up, provided you have the technical grounding, client exposure and confidence to take on a broader level of responsibility.
The role offers a genuine mix of corporate tax compliance and advisory work, making it well suited to someone who enjoys being close to clients rather than sitting purely in a review-focused compliance role. You'll work with a varied portfolio of UK and international businesses, supporting them across both day-to-day tax matters and more complex advisory projects.
Typical work will include managing corporate tax compliance processes, reviewing computations, liaising with HMRC, supporting clients with tax planning, advising on transactions, restructuring, group tax matters, international tax issues and other project-based advisory assignments.
You'll also be involved in managing client relationships, supporting junior team members, working closely with Partners and Directors, and helping identify opportunities to add further value across the client base.
The firm has a strong reputation in the market, a well-established London tax team and a clear progression structure. Hybrid working is in place, and the team offers a good balance of high-quality technical work, client exposure and long-term career development.
The ideal candidate will have corporate tax experience gained within an accountancy practice or professional services firm. You will need to be CTA / ACCA qualified, or equivalent, with strong UK corporate tax compliance experience and ideally some exposure to advisory work, or a clear desire to build this further.
This could suit a Corporate Tax Manager looking for a stronger platform, broader advisory exposure or a better long-term progression route. It could also suit a high-performing Assistant Manager who is ready to make the step up.
Salary is £65,000 - £83,000 basic, plus bonus and benefits.
If you're considering your next move in corporate tax and would like to understand what options are available at Manager level, please get in touch for a confidential discussion.
