Corporate Tax Manager - R&D & Innovation

East Anglia | £48,000 - £60,000
Join a growing tax team specialising in R&D Tax Relief and Patent Box services. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own client portfolio, lead advisory projects, develop junior team members, and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of R&D and Patent Box clients.
• Prepare and review claims and advisory work.
• Act as the main client contact and build strong relationships.
• Manage project delivery, budgets, WIP, and billing.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposals.
• Keep up to date with UK tax legislation and innovation incentives.

About You

• CTA, ACA, ACCA, ATT or equivalent qualification (or qualified by experience).
• Experience within an accountancy practice or tax consultancy.
• Strong corporate tax knowledge, ideally including R&D Tax Relief and/or Patent Box.
• Experience managing client relationships and multiple assignments.
• Previous supervisory or team management experience desirable.
