Deals Tax Manager / Senior Manager - Energy & Infrastructure
Are you looking to work on some of the UK's most significant infrastructure, energy and renewables transactions?
We are working with a leading Deals Tax team that advises investors, funds and corporates on the tax aspects of complex transactions across infrastructure, utilities, energy transition and real assets. The team combines deep transaction expertise with a strong international network, offering exposure to high-profile deals and excellent long-term career progression.
In this role, you will work alongside M&A, corporate finance and sector specialists to help clients structure acquisitions, disposals and investments efficiently while managing tax risk and delivering commercially focused solutions.
UK Tax knowledge / experience is a must

Leading or supporting tax due diligence assignments for acquisitions and disposals, identifying tax risks, opportunities and compliance issues.

Advising on transaction structuring, including acquisition and disposal steps, withholding tax, corporation tax and employment tax considerations.

Reviewing and challenging tax assumptions within financial models to support investment decisions and valuation analysis.

Delivering pre- and post-deal tax advice, including restructuring projects and implementation of tax planning strategies.

Collaborating with colleagues across tax, deals and international teams to provide integrated advice on multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Supporting business development activities, including client proposals, market updates, technical presentations and training sessions.

ACA and/or CTA qualified (or overseas equivalent), or qualified by significant relevant experience.

Strong experience within transaction tax / deals tax, gained in practice, consulting or a specialist advisory environment.

Experience delivering tax due diligence, vendor assistance, transaction structuring and tax modelling work.

Ability to manage multiple complex projects and work effectively to tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence clients and senior colleagues.

Exposure to areas such as funds flow, management tax planning, SPA review, post-deal implementation, PFI / infrastructure structuring or broader transaction tax advisory would be highly advantageous.

Work on landmark transactions in energy, infrastructure, utilities and renewables.
