Are you an experienced Employment Tax professional looking for your next challenge?
We're working with a leading London-based team that is looking to hire an Employment Tax Assistant Manager or Manager to join its growing practice.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of compliance, advisory and client interaction, with plenty of scope to develop technically and take on greater responsibility within a supportive and ambitious team.
The Role
- Manage a portfolio of clients across the full employment tax compliance cycle, including P11Ds, PSAs, STBV and ERS reporting.
- Identify and develop advisory opportunities arising from compliance work.
- Advise clients on a range of employment tax matters, including pay and benefits, employee status and payroll compliance.
- Support with year-end reporting, due diligence, policy reviews and wider employment tax projects.
- Build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted point of contact for employment tax matters.
- Supervise and support junior members of the team, helping with their technical and professional development.
- Keep up to date with changes in employment tax legislation and ensure clients receive commercial and practical advice.
About You
- Strong experience within Employment Tax, ideally gained within an accountancy or professional services environment.
- Experience managing an employment tax compliance portfolio.
- Confident dealing directly with clients and able to build strong relationships.
- Commercially minded, proactive and keen to identify opportunities to add value.
- A team player with strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- CTA and/or ACA qualified, or part-qualified, would be advantageous.
