Senior Equity & Reward Tax Manager
Edinburgh (2 days per week in office)
£80,000 - £100,000 + Bonus

I'm currently working with a leading professional services firm who are looking to bring in Senior Manager level hires to their Equity & Reward business across the North.

• 2 days per week in the office
• Clear pathway for progression
• Equity & Reward team based in Scotland (Edinburgh & Glasgow)
• Leading benefits package (Private Medical, Bonus, Enhanced Pension etc)

The team work on a variety of different share planning advisory projects, supporting both privately owned and large listed entities.

Your new role:

• Advise clients on employee share schemes and equity incentive plans.
• Design and implement tax-efficient share plan structures.
• Ensure compliance with UK share plan and employment tax regulations.
• Manage HMRC reporting and filings.
• Support corporate transactions, restructures, and due diligence involving share plans.
• Review tax implications of share awards, options, and incentives.
• Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
• Lead and develop junior team members.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to winning new work.
• Keep up to date with changes in share plan, employment tax, and wider tax legislation.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Suitable tax or legal qualification
• Previous experience advising on share and equity plans from a tax planning perspective
• Open to a strong Manager who wants to step up or Senior Manager who is looking for greater ownership
