Finance Analyst

Finance Analyst | Interim 10 months + | Berkshire | £36.00 P/hr Umbrella Co.

For a government organisation based in Berkshire, we are recruiting an interim Finance Analyst for 10-months. Working within a specific division, the Finance Analyst will be customer-facing and key in the analysis and interpretation of financial information for stakeholder decision-making.

Main Duties:

• Working with stakeholders on a regular basis to help them understand financial information for decision-making
• Provision of financial analysis and data
• Ensure stakeholders and budget holders comply with financial processes and the internal finance control and governance framework is in place
• Identify and implement process improvement activities
• Work closely with colleagues to support a high-performing team
• Occasional training and development of Finance Analysts / Graduates

Person Specification:

• Previous Government, Security, Nuclear, or Defence experience
• Part-qualified, finalist or qualified accountant
• Experience within an FP&A, budgeting, management information and business planning team
• Experience in partnering with a range of stakeholders
• Experience with Oracle Fusion and advanced Excel is desirable
