Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Services (Asset Management & Funds) Tax Manager to join the Corporate Tax team. This is a small but growing team, so it should appeal to someone in a larger FS Tax team who is concerned about progression rate and opportunities currently.

Responsibilities:

  • Sector Experience:

    • The Financial Services (Asset Management & Funds) Tax Manager must have a solid background in financial services tax, specifically in asset management and funds.
    • Leverage your expertise to provide tailored tax advice and solutions to our clients in this sector.
  • Breadth of Work:

    • This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
      • Deals Tax: Advise on tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
      • Advisory: Collaborate with clients to develop tax-efficient strategies and address complex tax issues.
      • Tax Audit: Manage tax audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
      • Compliance: Oversee tax compliance processes, including filing returns and reporting.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial services clients.
    • Understand their unique needs and provide strategic tax planning advice.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, addressing complex tax matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional tax qualification (e.g., CTA) preferred.
  • Existing experience in financial services tax, with a focus on asset management and funds.
