Pro Finance is working with a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice seeking a General Practice Director to join the leadership team as part of a long-term succession planning strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior position with an established client portfolio and no requirement to build a fee base from scratch. The role offers genuine influence within the firm and the opportunity to help shape its future direction.

The practice advises a broad range of SMEs, owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients across Gatwick, Crawley, Redhill, Reigate, Horley, East Grinstead, Haywards Heath, Surrey and West Sussex.

The Role

You will oversee a varied portfolio, acting as a trusted adviser to business owners while supporting the delivery of accounts, tax and audit services.

The firm is keen to speak with individuals who can bring a broad general practice background. Whilst experience across audit, accounts and tax would be advantageous, strong accounts and tax professionals with significant SME and owner-managed business experience will also be considered.

About You

ACA ICAEW, ACCA or equivalent qualified
Strong UK accountancy practice experience
Experience advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses
Proven ability to manage senior client relationships
Previous Director, Associate Director or Senior Manager experience
RI status desirable, but not essential
