Head of Audit Scotland - Central Belt

A well-established firm is seeking an experienced Audit Lead to develop and grow their audit offering in Scotland. Following a recent acquisition, the firm has solid capabilities in corporate finance and tax services, but they are now looking for a leader to take charge of building the audit side of the business from the ground up.

This is a great opportunity for a senior professional to lead a developing audit practice, with a key focus on business development. The successful candidate will be expected to expand the client base, build new relationships, and identify opportunities to cross-sell services across the firm. Ideally, the candidate will have an established book of business. Experience in financial services would be particularly valuable, as the firm plans to build out this capability. Expertise in the oil and gas sector, particularly in Aberdeen, would also be advantageous, as there is a drive to strengthen the firm's presence in this market.

The role is based in Scotland's central belt, with offices in Edinburgh and Dundee. The firm is looking for a candidate ideally located in the region. There is a significant focus on business development, client acquisition, and long-term growth, and the successful candidate should be prepared to invest in building the audit practice from the ground up.
