In-House Assistant Tax Manager, Financial Services

£75,000 + bonuses and benefits

London - 3 office days per week

A global financial services business will be recruiting an Assistant Tax Manager to support in the portfolio management of EMEA entities. Reporting to a highly experienced Senior Tax Manager leading a team of 4 in corporate tax, the successful candidate will find themselves in a strong team environment with an excellent record of promoting talent from within. This role will be primarily focused on ensuring direct tax compliance and reporting obligations are met, however will also be responsible for supporting on tax authority audits, providing support to the business on a variety of technical issues and liaising with other in-house specialist tax teams such as transfer pricing and VAT. This opportunity would best suit a self-starter looking for their first move in-house and exposure to a diverse range of corporate tax issues in a fast-paced and complex environment.

The successful candidate:

• ACA/CTA
• Financial services experience (in-house or practice)
• Proficient with corporate tax compliance and reporting (IFRS or local GAAPs)
• Additional European languages spoken are advantageous
