A quickly growing and UK-headed financial services business is further building in-house capabilities with their next key tax hire. - Delivering on accurate indirect tax reporting to the group, managing the completion of VAT and IPT returns
- Negotiation and management of the Group's PESM
- Building effective compliance and reporting processes, procedures and controls for indirect taxes
- Advising on indirect tax queries from the business, ongoing business partnering with cross-functional teams and training internal stakeholders on indirect tax matters
- Managing indirect tax relations with HMRC, auditors, Big 4 advisors and industry bodies
- Supporting with corporation tax, Pillar II, transfer pricing, employment tax, SAO and tax governance matters
This is a small team environment working hand-in-glove with the Head of Tax, meaning the successful candidate will be expected to be flexible by switching between hands-on and higher-level/strategic approaches as necessary.
This makes a great opportunity for the indirect tax specialist at the mid-senior level who likely trained within a Big 4 FS VAT team but is now looking to progress in-house and broaden their tax technical offering further. We are interested to speak with candidates who demonstrate the following:
