International Private Client Tax Partner

An exciting opportunity for an experienced International Private Client Tax specialist to join a highly successful and growing professional services firm, taking on an established client portfolio with significant scope to develop and grow the wider practice.

The firm is looking to appoint an International Private Client Tax Partner as part of its longer-term succession planning and continued investment in its Private Client offering.

The opportunity offers an existing portfolio to inherit from a retiring Partner, alongside the platform, international network and autonomy to develop your own client relationships and drive further growth.

The Role

You will play a key role in leading and developing the international private client offering, advising high-net-worth individuals and families on complex international tax matters.

The work includes offshore trusts and structures, internationally mobile individuals and cross-border personal tax planning, with particularly strong connections to Jersey and Guernsey.

Responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of an established portfolio of high-net-worth private clients, including an existing book of business as part of a planned succession.

• Advising on complex international private client tax matters, including offshore trusts, structures and international personal tax planning.

• Developing relationships with HNW individuals, families, trustees

• Identifying and winning new business, building on existing relationships and developing your own market presence.

• Working collaboratively with an extensive international network and colleagues across other service lines.

• Providing technical leadership, mentoring and developing talent within the team.

• Contributing to the strategic direction and continued growth of the wider Private Client practice.

About You

We are keen to speak with established International Private Client Tax Partners, or experienced Directors ready to make the step up, who can demonstrate:

• Strong technical expertise across international private client tax.

• Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families with complex international affairs.

• A background in offshore trusts, structures and international personal tax

• A proven track record of developing client relationships, winning work and building a portfolio.

• The ability to take ownership of an established client base while identifying opportunities for further growth.

• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to lead, develop and grow a successful business.

• A collaborative approach and an appetite to contribute to the wider firm.
