International Tax Assistant Manager - Birmingham

Join a growing International Tax team where you'll work with a diverse portfolio of UK and international businesses, helping clients navigate complex cross-border tax issues and identify opportunities in an increasingly global marketplace.

You'll gain exposure to a broad range of clients, from entrepreneurial and privately owned businesses to large multinational groups, working alongside experienced Managers, Directors and Partners across the wider Tax practice.

The Opportunity

As an International Tax Assistant Manager, you'll take responsibility for delivering high-quality tax advice across a varied client portfolio. You'll be involved in areas such as international structuring, cross-border transactions, overseas expansion and UK/international tax considerations.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Manage a portfolio of international clients, delivering both advisory and compliance services.
• Advise on a range of cross-border tax issues and international structures.
• Work closely with colleagues across Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, VAT and other specialist teams.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to support clients with additional services.
• Manage and develop more junior members of the team, providing coaching and technical guidance.
• Get involved in complex projects and contribute to the continued growth of the International Tax team.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a qualified or part-qualified tax professional with strong UK tax knowledge and an interest in developing a career in International Tax. You'll be commercially minded, confident working directly with clients and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

CTA, ACA or equivalent qualification is desirable, alongside relevant post-qualification or strong tax experience.
