International Tax Manager - Birmingham

Join a growing International Tax team where you'll advise a diverse portfolio of UK and international businesses on complex cross-border tax matters, helping clients navigate an increasingly global marketplace.

You'll work with a broad range of clients, from entrepreneurial and privately owned businesses through to large multinational groups, with excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunities to work alongside specialists across the wider Tax practice.

The Opportunity

As an International Tax Manager, you'll take ownership of a varied client portfolio, delivering high-quality international tax advisory and compliance services. You'll advise on areas including international structuring, cross-border transactions, overseas expansion and UK/international tax considerations.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Lead and manage a portfolio of international clients, building strong and lasting relationships.
• Deliver commercially focused advice on complex cross-border tax issues and international structures.
• Lead projects and work collaboratively with Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, VAT and other specialist teams.
• Identify opportunities to develop existing relationships and contribute to new business activity.
• Manage, coach and develop junior team members, supporting their technical and professional growth.
• Take an active role in the continued growth and development of the International Tax team.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a qualified tax professional with strong UK tax knowledge and relevant International Tax experience. You'll be commercially minded, confident advising clients and capable of managing complex assignments and multiple priorities.

CTA, ACA or equivalent qualification is desirable, alongside strong post-qualification tax experience.
