M&A Tax Director - Private Equity

£100,000 - £130,000 + Benefits + Bonus

We are currently working with a Big 4 deals tax team who are looking to bring in a M&A Tax Director to their PE & Credit Team.

Forming one of the largest deal advisory teams in the UK, this team focuses on supporting large and mid-market private equity and credit institutions.

They support their client base through the full deal life cycle which includes buy-side due diligence and structuring, sell-side vendor assist, due diligence and structuring, refinancing, restructuring and listing support.

Your new role:

• Lead M&A tax advisory projects for private equity and credit fund clients across acquisitions, disposals and restructurings
• Advise on transaction structuring, due diligence and tax risk management throughout the deal lifecycle
• Support investors, management teams and portfolio companies on financing, refinancing and exit transactions
• Build and manage strong relationships with fund principals and investment teams
• Collaborate with legal, corporate finance and transaction services teams to deliver integrated deal advice
• Lead, mentor and develop junior team members
• Drive business development and identify opportunities to grow private equity and credit fund client relationships

What you'll need to be successful:

• Suitable UK qualification (ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA, CA)
• Extensive deals tax/transactions/M&A experience
• Experience working on Private Equity and Credit portfolios
• WIP, team management, fee generation etc
