Personal Tax Assistant Manager

The Opportunity

As an Assistant Manager in Tax, you will bring the drive and motivation needed to:

• Take ownership of and manage a client portfolio with minimal senior input

• Contribute towards delivering revenue and profitability targets

• Build and nurture long-lasting client relationships

• Play a role in developing and supporting our people strategy

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, demonstrating your experience in non-res/non-dom, FIGs, Inheritance Tax, and personal tax compliance as well as getting involved with forward thinking tax planning / advosry projects

• Handle ad hoc tasks as they arise, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving skills

• Provide a high level of client service and delivery in line with best practice standards

• Lead, mentor, and coach junior team members, with supervisory experience being highly advantageous

• Collaborate closely with a supportive team of like-minded professionals, all striving to deliver excellence together

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• ATT qualified or studying towards the CTA (or equivalent)

• Experienced in Personal/Private Client Tax or Mixed Tax within a practice environment

• UK tax knowledge / experience is a must

• Strong in technical knowledge, with the ability to research complex areas of tax legislation

• Familiar with clients across a range of sectors, with multi-industry exposure being a distinct advantage

• Ambitious to continue their professional development and grow within a supportive environment
