Private Client Tax Assistant Manager - Fast-Track Progression to Manager

We're working with a leading accountancy firm whose growing, award-winning Private Client team is looking for an ambitious Assistant Manager ready to take the next step towards Manager.

The team advises a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, families, trusts and owner-managed businesses, providing a fantastic mix of compliance and advisory work.

The Opportunity

This role offers genuine progression to Manager, with the support, responsibility and client exposure needed to make that next move.

You'll manage your own portfolio of personal tax clients, taking responsibility for delivering high-quality compliance work while developing your advisory experience. You'll work closely with Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners, giving you excellent exposure to complex matters and senior stakeholders.

The team has a particularly strong reputation for advising entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses, meaning you'll gain exposure to interesting and varied client situations rather than simply routine compliance.

You'll also have the opportunity to identify additional advisory opportunities, develop client relationships and play an increasingly important role within the wider team.

About You

We're looking for an ambitious Private Client Tax professional with:

• Strong experience in personal tax compliance, ideally within an accountancy or professional services firm
• The ability to manage routine work independently with minimal review points
• Some tax advisory experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• A proactive approach and genuine ambition to progress into Manager
• Good knowledge of tax compliance software and Microsoft Office
• CTA and/or ATT qualified, or qualified by experience
