Your new role:
As a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager, you'll support the delivery of both compliance and advisory work, managing a varied portfolio of HNW and UHNW individuals.
You'll be working closely with senior managers and partners on bespoke tax planning projects - including residence and domicile, succession planning, and trusts - while providing mentorship to junior colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of private clients and overseeing annual tax compliance
- Reviewing returns, reports, and correspondence to HMRC
- Supporting delivery of advisory projects including residence & domicile, CGT, IHT, and estate planning
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Coaching and reviewing work of junior team members
- Collaborating with partners and directors to deliver high-quality client outcomes
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- CTA, ACA, ACCA, ATT or equivalent qualification (or near completion)
- Experience within Private Client or Personal Tax, ideally in practice
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Strong technical knowledge across UK personal tax matters
- Ability to manage deadlines and mentor junior staff
