The opportunity

Are you an ambitious Private Client Tax Director looking for a genuine route to Partnership?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Private Client team in Cambridge, working closely with Partners to grow the practice, develop the client base and build out the team.

You'll have the opportunity to play a significant role in shaping the Cambridge Private Client offering, with a clear focus on business development, client growth and leadership - making this an ideal role for someone who has Partnership firmly in their sights.

The role

You'll act as a trusted adviser to a portfolio of high-value private clients, providing commercially focused advice across complex tax matters.

Alongside your client responsibilities, you'll:

• Drive business development and new client acquisition.
• Build relationships with lawyers, wealth managers and other professional advisers.
• Develop and grow existing client relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Work closely with Partners on the strategic growth of the Private Client practice.
• Help build and develop the Cambridge team, including coaching and mentoring future talent.
• Provide technical leadership across complex Private Client Tax matters.
• Represent the firm within the Cambridge market and build its profile.

About you

You'll be a CTA, ACA or similarly qualified Private Client Tax professional with significant post-qualified experience and a strong track record of client management and business development.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Already operating at Director or Senior Manager level.
• Commercially minded with a proven ability to win and grow business.
• Well connected within the professional adviser and Private Client market.
• An experienced people leader who enjoys developing high-performing teams.
• Ambitious and motivated by the prospect of progressing to Partnership.
