We are currently working a leading Big 4 Firm in Manchester who are looking to bring in an experienced Private Client Tax Director to help lead and shape their private client business in Manchester and across the wider North.

This is a unique role at a Big 4 that offers the opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager or Director who wants to be a partner in the future.

Your new role:

• Deliver bespoke private client tax advisory services to business owners, shareholders and high net worth individuals
• Advise on transactions including trade sales, private equity investments, MBOs, demergers and business exits
• Support clients with succession planning, inheritance tax planning, family investment companies and wealth preservation strategies
• Provide advice on cash extraction and shareholder planning to achieve tax-efficient outcomes
• Work with professional partnerships and LLPs, advising partners through transactions, restructurings and ownership changes
• Support founders and rapidly growing businesses through fundraising, growth, shareholder planning and exit events
• Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser on complex tax matters
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development activities

To be successful in this role you'll need:

• Suitable qualification (CA, ACCA, ACA, ATT, CTA)
• Strong UK private client tax advisory experience
• Shareholder tax advisory experience, supporting clients through transactions, exits and other forms of succession planning
• Well networked in the Manchester and Northern market, with the ability to help drive commercial activities.
• Experience running & managing a team
