An exciting opportunity to join a growing Private Client Tax team and play a key role in shaping its future.

We are looking for an ambitious Private Client Tax Director who wants more than simply managing an existing portfolio. This is an opportunity to take a leading role in growing the private client practice, developing new client relationships and building a high-performing team around you.

You'll work with a broad range of high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs and business owners, providing the full range of traditional private client tax advice. This will include areas such as income tax, CGT, IHT, trusts, succession planning, estate planning and other complex personal tax matters. You'll have the opportunity to become a trusted adviser to clients, building long-term relationships and delivering genuinely bespoke advice.

Alongside your technical client work, you'll have significant scope to develop your own network, win new work and expand existing client relationships. We are particularly keen to hear from someone who is entrepreneurial and enjoys being out in the market, identifying opportunities and building a personal profile.

You'll also play a key role in growing and developing the wider team, coaching more junior members and helping to shape how the Private Client offering evolves. Working closely with the Partners, you'll have a genuine voice in the strategic direction of the practice and the opportunity to make a visible impact on its continued growth.

What you'll be doing

• Advising HNW and UHNW individuals, families, entrepreneurs and business owners on a broad range of private client tax matters.
• Leading complex IHT, CGT, income tax, trust, succession and estate planning engagements.
• Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients and becoming a key adviser to them and their families.
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing client relationships and win new work.
• Developing your own network and market profile to generate new opportunities and referrals.
• Working closely with Partners to shape and grow the Private Client Tax offering.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing the next generation of private client tax professionals.
• Helping to build a strong, commercially focused team and culture.
• Bringing new ideas to the practice and identifying opportunities in the market that others may be missing.
