Advise some of the UK's most influential Financial Services professionals.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading Big 4 Private Client teams, specialising in advising high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs and senior executives across the Financial Services sector.

Working with hedge fund principals, private equity professionals, investment managers, banking executives and fintech founders, you'll provide bespoke tax advice to clients with complex personal and business affairs. Many have family offices, international investment structures and significant cross-border interests, ensuring a varied and intellectually stimulating workload.

This is a team renowned for both the quality of its clients and its collaborative culture, offering exceptional exposure to market-leading Partners, genuine career development and some of the most interesting private client work available in the UK.

The Opportunity

As a Tax Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of sophisticated private clients while supporting Partners and Directors on complex advisory projects. From international mobility and residence planning through to remuneration, investment structures and succession planning, you'll advise clients across every stage of their wealth journey.

The breadth and complexity of the client base means you'll continue to develop both technically and commercially, working alongside some of the leading Private Client specialists in the market.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families and Financial Services executives.
  • Advise on UK personal tax, residence and domicile, cross-border taxation and wealth planning.
  • Support clients with the tax implications of complex investment structures, carried interest, remuneration planning and family wealth structures.
  • Work closely with Partners and Directors to deliver bespoke advisory projects.
  • Manage the delivery of tax compliance whilst identifying planning opportunities throughout the year.
  • Build strong client relationships, becoming a trusted adviser on a wide range of tax matters.
  • Review technical work prepared by junior team members, providing coaching and mentoring.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
  • Work collaboratively with specialists across Corporate Tax, Transaction Tax and Global Mobility to deliver integrated advice.

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • ACA, CTA (or equivalent) qualification, or be working towards CTA.
  • Strong UK Private Client Tax experience gained within practice.
  • Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs and internationally mobile clients.
  • Knowledge of residence and domicile matters, trusts and wealth planning.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The confidence to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality technical advice.
  • A collaborative approach and ambition to continue developing your career within a leading Private Client practice.
