Are you an experienced Private Client Tax Manager looking for a role that offers greater responsibility, influence and genuine career progression?
A highly regarded Top 20 accountancy firm is looking to appoint a Private Client Tax Manager to its growing London team. Working with an impressive portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs and other private clients, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a progressive and ambitious practice.
The Role
You will take responsibility for an established portfolio of private clients, overseeing the delivery of high-quality personal tax compliance and advisory work while developing strong, long-term client relationships.
Beyond portfolio management, you will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility across the department, working closely with senior leadership and contributing to the continued development of the private client tax offering.
Key responsibilities will include:
-
Managing a varied portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs and private clients.
-
Providing personal tax compliance and advisory services.
-
Reviewing work and maintaining high technical and client service standards.
-
Managing, mentoring and developing junior members of the tax team.
-
Identifying opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.
-
Working closely with partners on complex client matters.
-
Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the department.
About You
You will have a strong background in Private Client or Personal Tax gained within a UK accountancy practice and be comfortable managing your own portfolio of clients.
CTA qualification would be advantageous, although relevant experience will also be considered. You should be confident dealing directly with clients, reviewing the work of others and supporting the development of junior colleagues.
Most importantly, this opportunity will suit someone ambitious who wants to progress beyond Tax Manager level and take on increasing responsibility for clients, people and the wider development of a successful tax practice.
What's on Offer?
£70,000-£75,000 + excellent benefits
Hybrid working
High-quality private client portfolio
Excellent long-term career progression
Greater exposure to partners and senior decision-making
