Private Client Tax Manager - OMB
London / Hybrid
£65,000 + Excellent Benefits
Our client is a forward-thinking accountancy firm renowned for delivering high-quality tax, consulting and audit services to privately owned and entrepreneurial businesses.
Due to continued growth and recent acquisitions, our client is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join its expanding team, with a particular focus on Owner-Managed Businesses (OMBs) and their shareholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded tax professional to become a trusted adviser to a portfolio of entrepreneurial clients. You will provide strategic advice across personal and business tax, helping clients navigate complex compliance, tax planning, wealth structuring and succession matters.
As a key point of contact, you will manage a diverse portfolio of OMB clients, overseeing personal tax compliance while identifying opportunities for proactive planning and advisory work. You will work closely with corporate tax, audit and other internal teams, as well as external advisers, to deliver a joined-up service tailored to each client's needs.
Your technical responsibilities will include advising on shareholder and business tax interactions, tax-efficient extraction strategies, employee incentives and tax-advantaged share schemes, EIS matters, succession planning and family business governance. Experience of trusts and estates would also be advantageous.
You will also play an important leadership role, mentoring and developing junior team members, reviewing work for quality and accuracy, and supporting the wider management team with productivity, billing and performance objectives.
The ideal candidate will be ACA or CTA qualified with extensive mixed tax experience, particularly across HNWIs and OMBs. You will have strong UK personal tax knowledge, excellent client management skills and a commercially focused approach to identifying planning opportunities.
If you are looking for a role where you can combine technical expertise, client relationships and commercial insight within a growing and entrepreneurial practice, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
