Are you an experienced Personal Tax Senior looking for a new opportunity within an established independent accountancy practice?
A highly regarded firm of accountants, based in the City of London, is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior to join its successful tax team.
With an impressive portfolio of private clients, the firm offers an excellent environment for someone looking to develop their technical expertise, take greater responsibility and build lasting client relationships.
The Opportunity
Working closely with experienced tax professionals and partners, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day tax affairs of a varied personal tax portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing personal tax returns and supporting computations.
- Managing compliance deadlines and ensuring timely submissions.
- Handling client queries and liaising directly with HMRC.
- Building strong relationships with clients.
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and referring complex matters to senior colleagues.
- Supporting the wider tax team with compliance and advisory assignments.
About You
Ideally, you will have:
- A minimum of four years' UK tax experience, preferably within accountancy practice.
- Strong personal tax compliance knowledge.
- Experience preparing self-assessment tax returns.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- ATT or CTA qualifications, either partially or fully completed, would be advantageous.
