The Opportunity
The successful Private Client Tax Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of trust accounting, trust taxation and inheritance tax work across a varied portfolio.
Working closely with senior team members, the Private Client Tax Senior Associate will gain exposure to a broad range of technical trust matters while developing strong client relationships within a highly respected private client practice.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of trust accounts
- Trust tax compliance and related reporting
- Supporting inheritance tax work
- Managing day-to-day client queries
- Building relationships with trustees and other stakeholders
- Supporting advisory projects across trusts and family office clients
- Working closely with senior members of the private client team
- Assisting with the development of junior team members
About You
To be considered for this Private Client Tax Senior Associate role, you should have:
- A minimum of two years' relevant trusts experience
- Strong trust accounting experience
- Exposure to trust taxation and/or inheritance tax matters
- Experience gained within an accountancy practice or law firm environment
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- ATT, AAT, ACA, CTA or STEP qualifications (or studies in progress)
The team is also open to speaking with qualified-by-experience candidates who can demonstrate strong trust expertise.
