A well-established and highly regarded practice with a long history advising clients across the Arts, Film and TV industries is looking to appoint a Personal Tax Senior Manager.
This Personal Tax Senior Manager role sits within a boutique environment, with a close-knit team of around 20, offering genuine autonomy and client exposure that's hard to find at larger firms. As Personal Tax Senior Manager, you'll take ownership of a substantial portfolio of high-profile individual clients within the media and entertainment world, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted adviser.
The Personal Tax Senior Manager role also carries people management responsibility, overseeing one team member alongside your own client workload, making it ideal for someone ready to combine strong technical delivery with mentoring and review responsibilities.
As Personal Tax Senior Manager, you'll be:
- Managing a substantial portfolio of individual clients, with a strong compliance and advisory split
- Acting as the primary, direct contact for all tax clients, leading client onboarding and advisory meetings
- Taking complete oversight of annual Self-Assessment tax return cycles, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), ATED, and P11D filings
- Handling HMRC enquiries and correspondence directly
- Delegating, reviewing, and coaching the output of 1 direct report
To be considered for this Personal Tax Senior Manager role, you'll have:
- Significant experience managing a personal tax portfolio at manager level
- A background advising high-net-worth or entertainment-industry clients (media, arts, or similar creative sectors highly relevant)
- ATT/CTA qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Confidence managing HMRC enquiries and investigations
- Strong client relationship and people management skills
Salary for this Personal Tax Senior Manager position is offered in the region of £60,000 - £70,000, dependent on experience. This is a fully office-based role in Central London.
