This Private Tax team advises a diverse range of entrepreneurial businesses - from owner-managed and family-run companies to PE-backed and AIM-listed groups. They go beyond compliance to act as strategic partners, helping clients navigate growth, change, and complex tax issues.
The Opportunity - Step Into a More Advisory-Focused Role
We're looking for an ambitious Tax Manager to join this expanding Private Tax team in Reading. This is a standout opportunity to work directly with clients - including founders, CFOs and boards - on transactions, reorganisations, operational tax strategy, and bespoke planning.
You'll play a hands-on advisory role, helping clients make informed decisions while building lasting relationships. With significant investment in the team, you'll be part of a growing and high-profile practice with real momentum.
What You'll Do

Act as a day-to-day tax adviser, delivering strategic solutions

Lead conversations on restructurings, transactions and tax planning

Build trusted relationships and identify new business opportunities

Supervise and develop junior team members

Drive high-quality project delivery with a commercial mindset
What We're Looking For

Strong corporate tax experience with a client-facing background

Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification

Commercially aware, proactive and collaborative
