We are partnering with a well-established Top 15 UK accountancy firm, part of a leading global network, to recruit an R&D Tax Manager into its growing national R&D tax team.

With a strong reputation across advisory, audit, and tax, the firm works with a diverse portfolio of clients spanning multiple sectors.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of innovative R&D projects, collaborating with technical and financial stakeholders while playing a key role in delivering high-quality claims and driving client value.

About the Role

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of R&D tax claims, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and HMRC guidelines
  • Manage R&D projects end-to-end, including client interviews, technical report writing, and submission of claims
  • Collaborate with corporate tax, audit, and accounts teams to identify opportunities and deliver integrated client solutions
  • Support business development initiatives, including client pitches and identifying opportunities within existing portfolios

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience managing R&D tax projects and delivering claims within a professional services environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK R&D tax legislation and HMRC processes
  • Ability to build and manage client relationships, with strong communication and commercial awareness
  • CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
