Pro-Tax is working with a leading accountancy and advisory firm seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join its expanding Innovation Tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with experience in R&D Tax Relief, Patent Box or Corporate Tax who wants to manage their own portfolio, lead client relationships and play a key role in delivering high-quality advisory services.

The Role
You'll take responsibility for managing a portfolio of R&D Tax Relief and Patent Box clients, overseeing technical delivery, client relationships and project management.
Working closely with senior tax leaders, you'll support businesses across a variety of sectors, helping them maximise available tax incentives while ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
You'll also play an important role in developing junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of the firm's innovation tax offering.

Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of R&D Tax Relief and Patent Box clients
* Preparing and reviewing R&D and Patent Box claims
* Providing technical advice on innovation tax incentives
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Managing workflow, budgets and deadlines
* Supporting advisory projects and technical research
* Working closely with audit, accounts and wider tax teams
* Delegating and reviewing work completed by junior staff
* Contributing to business development and networking activities
* Identifying opportunities to grow existing client relationships

About You
You'll ideally have:
* Corporate Tax, R&D Tax or Innovation Tax experience
* Previous experience managing client relationships
* Strong technical and problem-solving skills
* Experience reviewing and overseeing technical work
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A commercial mindset and interest in advisory services

Qualifications

* CTA
* ACA
* ACCA
* ATT
* Or equivalent experience within practice
