Your role as Accounts Semi-Senior
- Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Assist with corporation tax and VAT returns
- Prepare management accounts for a range of clients
- Support audit assignments, including fieldwork and testing
- Work closely with senior team members to deliver work on time and within budget
- Communicate with clients, responding to queries and building relationships
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with regulatory standards
- Support and guide more junior team members where appropriate
- Contribute to improving processes and overall team efficiency
What you'll need to succeed
- AAT, ACA or ACCA part-qualified, or actively studying
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Exposure to accounts preparation and basic tax work
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communication skills and a client-focused approach
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and develop
