Semi Senior Accountant

Location: Folkestone, Kent
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000

Your role as Accounts Semi-Senior

• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Assist with corporation tax and VAT returns
• Prepare management accounts for a range of clients
• Support audit assignments, including fieldwork and testing
• Work closely with senior team members to deliver work on time and within budget
• Communicate with clients, responding to queries and building relationships
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with regulatory standards
• Support and guide more junior team members where appropriate
• Contribute to improving processes and overall team efficiency

What you'll need to succeed

• AAT, ACA or ACCA part-qualified, or actively studying
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
• Exposure to accounts preparation and basic tax work
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communication skills and a client-focused approach
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and develop
