Corporate Tax Senior Manager - Public Sector focused

We are currently working with a leading Top 10 Accountancy firm based in Manchester who are looking to strengthen their specialist corporate tax team who focus on supporting public sector clients.

You'll be working with a well established team who are experts in their markets working with range of Universities, Charities, Councils, Housing Associations and other third sector areas.

Your new role:

• Act as the day-to-day tax lead for a portfolio of corporate and public sector clients, delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser on UK corporate tax matters.
• Lead corporate tax compliance and provide advice on structuring, financing, CIR, permanent establishments, and loss utilisation.
• Provide sector-specific tax support to public sector and publicly funded bodies, including governance, funding, and commercial activity matters.
• Lead advisory projects such as restructurings, HMRC engagements, and transactions, including tax due diligence where required
• Review team output, manage tax risk, and provide clear technical guidance
• Manage and develop junior team members and work collaboratively with other specialist teams

What you'll need to be successful:

• Strong UK Corproate tax experience
• Experience supporting Public Sector clients across the UK
• Corporate tax compliance & Advisory experience
