A leading Big 4 firm is looking to appoint a Senior Manager within its Indirect Tax / VAT team, offering an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing and growing practice.

The role will provide broad exposure across a diverse client base, including major multinational organisations, household-name retailers, financial services businesses, public sector organisations and fast-growing companies.

The Role

As a Senior Manager, you will take a leading role across a varied portfolio of VAT and indirect tax advisory work, with responsibilities including:

• Providing high-quality VAT and indirect tax advice to a broad range of clients
• Advising on indirect tax strategy, planning and complex transactions
• Supporting clients across areas including retail, supply chain, international trade, financial services and public sector
• Working across customs and environmental taxes where relevant
• Building and maintaining strong senior client relationships
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Leading and mentoring junior members of the team
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the wider practice

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• CTA qualified or equivalent relevant tax experience
• Strong technical VAT / Indirect Tax knowledge
• Significant advisory experience within a professional services or relevant in-house environment
• Strong commercial and business development skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience managing and developing junior team members
• The ambition to progress within a market-leading Big 4 practice
