A leading Big 4 firm is looking to appoint a Senior Manager within its Real Estate Deals VAT team, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced VAT professional to join a market-leading practice.

This is a highly advisory-focused role, working with major real estate investors, developers, funds and corporate clients on complex transactions and providing strategic VAT advice throughout the deal lifecycle.

The Role

As a Senior Manager, you will be involved in a broad range of real estate transactions and advisory projects, including:

• Advising on VAT implications of acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and developments
• Providing VAT due diligence and transaction support
• Advising on property transactions, financing and investment structures
• Supporting clients with VAT structuring and planning
• Managing senior client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice
• Leading projects and working closely with wider deal teams across tax and transactions
• Identifying business development opportunities and supporting the growth of the team
• Coaching and developing junior members of the team

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong UK VAT / Indirect Tax experience
• Significant experience advising on real estate and/or transactions
• Strong technical VAT knowledge combined with a commercial approach
• Experience working directly with senior clients and stakeholders
• Strong project management and team leadership skills
• A track record of contributing to business development
• CTA qualified or equivalent professional experience
