Senior Private Client Tax Manager
Manchester City Centre (2 days per week in office)
£75,000 - £90,000 + Benefits + Bonus

I'm currently working with a leading professional services firm in Manchester who are looking to expand their private client tax advisory business.

This is an advisory focused team supporting HNWIs, Entrepreneurs, Shareholders, Director and Family businesses. As a team they also support partnerships and and start ups who are going through funding etc.

Whilst this is a Senior Manager position, it would be suitable for an experienced Manager who wants to take a step up.

Your new role:

• Deliver bespoke private client tax advisory services to business owners, shareholders and high net worth individuals
• Advise on transactions including trade sales, private equity investments, MBOs, demergers and business exits
• Support clients with succession planning, inheritance tax planning, family investment companies and wealth preservation strategies
• Provide advice on cash extraction and shareholder planning to achieve tax-efficient outcomes
• Work with professional partnerships and LLPs, advising partners through transactions, restructurings and ownership changes
• Support founders and rapidly growing businesses through fundraising, growth, shareholder planning and exit events
• Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser on complex tax matters
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development activities

What you'll need to be successful:

• Suitable qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT, ICAS)
• Previous experience personal tax experience in the UK market
• Tax advisory experience working with shareholders
• Compliance backgrounds (With a want to do more advisory) considered
• Manager level wanting to step up or a Senior Manager who is wanting more ownership and interesting work
